Like all Malabrigo yarns, it is kettle-dyed in small batches by artisan dyers and is full of subtle variation and beauty.
Great for: Lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, gloves, and of course socks!

Note on hand-dyed yarn.
The beauty of hand dyed yarns is undeniable, but please remember every hand dyed skein is unique for better or worse. So please be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project at once since each bag is unique, and skeins will vary from bag to bag sometimes drastically and you have the best chance to get similar skeins if you order at one time. Skeins may vary noticeably from one to the next even within the same batch or bag. And not every skein may have every color in it. The best way to ensure random color distribution is to work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.

Now featuring colors inspired by signs of the Zodiac! This collection was designed by Flor, who is part of the Malabrigo design team, and it was born of two of her major interests: tarot cards and astrology. Her idea was to make twelve colors, each corresponding to one of the twelve signs of the zodiac.
With this in mind, she created a mood board for each sign, using concepts or key aspects of the personalities popularly attributed to people born under each sign. Then, a color palette was selected based on those to transfer it into skeins. As an example, Pisceans are known for having a fanciful personality so she decided to add some colors typically associated with fantasies such as light blue, purple, and pink typically associated with fantasies and mythical creatures. Next, she added a deep green hue, relating these fantasies with the sea as well, since Piscis is a water sign.
She used the same process with all twelve colors. The process of investigation and experimentation was lengthy, carefully testing and selecting different dyeing methods for each color corresponding to a particular zodiac sign as it had been envisioned.
