- Very soft, forgiving and pleasant to work with
- 1 ply (or strand) is made out of 2 indivisible threads twisted together
- 1 strand is about the thickness of 2 strands of floss, making it great for cross stitch too
- 45 yards per skein (these regular size skeins have no notation) which covers about 10 square inches of 18 count needlepoint canvas using 2 ply
- Recommended using 2 ply for 18 count canvas
- Recommended using 4 ply for 13 count canvas
- Great replacement for the discontinued DMC Medici Wool
