Opal sock yarn can best be described as a classic light fingering weight wool yarn. The wool is made from 75% virgin wool in Germany with 25% polyamid added to make it stronger. It offers up lots of fabulous colors including limited edition colors here inspired by Vincent Van Gogh as well as solids and other multicolors. It's easy to care for with machine washable on the warm setting (40 degrees celcius). And all that comes in a generous 460 yard put up (425 meters) enough to make an adult man a pair of hand made wool socks at a reasonable price.
