Colonial Persian Wool is the replacement for now defunct Paternayan Persian Wool. Made by the original spinner of Paternayan with the same proprietary process and with matching color numbers. Paternayan number plus 1 at the beginning of the number equals Colonial's number; black paternayan is 220, black colonial is 1220, white paternayan is 260, white colonial is 1260, etc.
