LARGEST Selection of Needlework in North Florida

The short-sleeved summer cardigan on the cover of the Spring/Summer 2008 Vogue Knitting has us all excited.  Join us as we knit this lacy lovely.  The first class is scheduled for May 10.  We will schedule the second class at that time.  In the first class we will discuss sizing options and begin knitting our garments.  In the second class we will sew the pieces together, and select the best trim and edging.

Come in now to sign up for the class and select your yarn.  We have some of the recommended yarn (Tahki/Stacy Charles Sky), but if we have to order more, you will want to have it before the first class.  Other yarns can be substituted.

Dear friends,
It is time for the Big News!  My dreams to find a way to retire and still have A Stitch In Time in Jacksonville have been realized.  As of Jan. 2008 Susan Pritchett will be the owner of the shop.  Susan has been a customer for many years.  She has been working at the shop for the last six months.  She loves needlepoint and also enjoys knitting and cross stitch.  I feel confident that her enthusiasm and graciousness will please you.  I will continue to be in the shop some days so there can be a smooth transition. Susan plans to keep the shop in the same location with many of the same products.  I look forward to her fresh, new ideas that will inspire us with exciting new adventures in the needlearts.

   Custom framing will be dis- continued. References available.

       Please use any Credits, Filled Key Tags and Gift Certificates as soon as possible.  If they were issued before Dec. 31, 2007 they will be honored through Dec. 31, 2008 only.

      We are both going to the trade show in California Jan 8 - 13 .  Susan will also be going to the Nashville trade show in February.  Let us know if you have wishes.

182 afghans, 144 caps, and 7 scarfs were gratefully accepted by those who work with the homeless in Jacksonville.  Hope you can participate in 2008.
